The research method was descriptive-correlation and based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the study included all students of Payame Noor Shadegan University in the 2017-2018 academic year and the sampling method was cluster sampling. For this purpose, a sample of 249 students was selected from the students of the mentioned university. The instruments used in this study were the Social Capital and Student Academic Satisfaction Scale, which after calculating its validity and reliability, was distributed and collected among the sample. Data were analyzed by SPSS and Lisrel software using one-sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis model. The results of data analysis showed that: 1) Students of social capital in the university have rated themselves below the desired level of adequacy (Q3) and the minimum level of acceptable adequacy (Q2). 2) The level of student satisfaction with education is significantly lower than the desired level of adequacy (Q3) and the minimum level of acceptable adequacy (Q2). 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between social capital and students' satisfaction with education. 4) Social capital has a direct structural effect on students' academic satisfaction.
